THE STORY
Hey, i’m Sienna, founder of SF…
Certified somatic practitioner, heels dancer, dog mum and movement enthusiast.
I have always had a strong awareness of my body and a commitment to embracing my physical and emotional experiences. I used to have intense emotional blockages and feelings that would consume me and my day, through my journey with a somatic therapist, I learned intentional body check-ins that connect the mind and body, providing tools to heal traumas and everyday anxieties. The remedy to releasing blocks in your life, is already within you!
With over 10 years of dance experience, I've seen how movement can release stored trauma; for example, shaking hands can relieve tension and emotional pain. Gently caressing the skin promotes a nurturing connection to the body so you can start functioning from a place of safety.
Intergrating my dance and somatic background, I’ve created a unique experience for women to connect meaningfully with their bodies, encouraging healing and self-discovery through movement.

FAQs

Somatic movement is a holistic practice that focuses on the inner experience of the body; becoming aware of bodily sensations, emotions, and movement patterns. Unlike traditional forms of exercise, somatic movement invites individuals to explore their bodies and connect with their inner selves.
At Salam Farm, we incorporate breath work and visualisation into sessions. We then channel what we’ve learned from our bodies into movement as a way to process those emotions, further enhancing the connection between mind and body.
